Overview
This exciting excursion will see your students immersed in the rich biodiversity of the Kamay Botany Bay National Park bushland and beach habitats. Using the geographical inquiry process students will observe first-hand the unique features of the dry eucalypt forest and sandy beaches on the Kurnell Peninsular. Students will use a variety of fieldwork tools and record their evidence, observations and investigations discovered during the bushwalk in their field journals. This will lead to an understanding of the importance of the national park, why it is valued by people and how it can be sustainably managed into the future.
