Have you heard about the Easter Bilby? Why are Bilbies special? Why are we talking about Bilbies at Easter time? Listen to a story and learn about how we can care for the Greater Bilby.

K-2 students will:

• Listen to a Bilby story
• Sing and dance to a Bilby song
• Create a seed ball for Easter
• Make a Bilby card for Easter

This lesson explores concepts and practices through a variety of educational, fun, and hands-on activities using an interactive platform with NSW Department of Education Environmental Education teachers.

Why are we talking about Bilbies at Easter time? Listen to a story and find out more about these fascinating animals and their habitat. Discover why the Greater Bilby is threatened and learn about conservation programs working to protect them. 

Students in Years 3-6 will:

·       Listen to a Bilby story text

·       Sing and dance to a Bilby song

·       Create a seed ball for Easter

·       Make a Bilby card for Easter, and participate in a guided drawing lesson to draw a Bilby
