Stage 2 - Science - Birds and shells

Incursions are available to those schools within a 40km radius of Kamay Botany Bay EEC, 13-31 Dampier Street, Kurnell.

Our qualified teachers will guide students in exploring the unique classifications of living things in their own school grounds, fostering curiosity and discovery right where they learn every day.

Overview

This immersive experience transforms your school into a living classroom, where students engage in real-world science and develop a deeper connection to their environment by identifying animal species in their surroundings.

During the incursion, students will conduct a scientific study to investigate the bird species living in bushland, grassland, and beach habitats. Using their science journals, they will:
