Overview

The leadership program is designed to develop the essential qualities and skills needed to excel as a student leader. Working collaboratively in groups, students will participate in team-building activities that foster leadership skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, decision-making, and teamwork.

Students will gain an understanding of the relationship between human activities, the environment, and the cultural and natural heritage of Kamay Botany Bay National Park. They will also assess bush trails and use a GPS device to collect information.

As part of their learning, students will plan and design solutions to improve equal access to information for all audiences, considering the needs of people with disabilities when accessing sites, monuments, and sculptures.
